Acai-bowl-2

You might have seen about a thousand photographs of beautiful purple Açai bowls on the internet already, but that’s not gonna stop me from posting yet another one. Or, better, a few photos, because also I am still amazed by the beauty of Açai bowls, although I have already made a few in my life.

It takes about 30 seconds to make an Açai bowl, which might automatically make this recipe the best against any approaching November blues out there! This breakfast is happiness in a bowl, and besides, it’s good for your health, too. The deep purple Açai berries originate in Brazil, where they are a popular superfood thanks to their high contents of fibre, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and omega 3 fatty acids.

In this part of the world, you can find Açai powder, frozen Açai pulp or Açai juice to add the berries to your diet. Check your local health store for Açai powder, order frozen Açai pulp online or buy Açai juice in the supermarket.

Let’s fight the grey weather with colourful Açai bowls, shall we?
